Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but we've been a bit busy trying to get some things together for our upcoming seasons. Also, Maca of THEMASS' is on a five week long vacation in Asia; so he won't be updating until he returns. Please stay tuned for new updates/blog posts, as there will be more! Thanks again for all your support and remember to keep checking back.
I'm always on the look for creative art where ever I go. Whether it be through paintings, music, dance, etc. Art regardless always keeps me intrigued and my mind busy. Here are some paintings I saw on my trip to Arizona. Check them out if your ever in downtown Tempe. Thanks to Wet Paint for letting me snap some pictures.
A little blurry but still pretty dope...
Insane painting, Such creativity.. Pretty genius...
This one sends a strong, straight forward message...
Saved the best for last.. I was amazed when I saw this.. Reppin' The Masses... That's wussup!
One of the biggest things we admire in any type of art form, whether it be graphic design, film, music; is taking something old and making it new.
Growing up in the 90's, Sega Genesis was the game system of choice, and my favorite game on Sega was most definitely Sonic the Hedghog. When I recently downloaded Wiz Khalifa's 'Flight School' Mixtape, I instantly fell in love with the track 'Ms. Rightfernow.' The track samples one of the theme songs from an old Sonic the Hedgehog game, 'Greenhill Zone.' Take a listen at the first video to hear the original song from the game, then check out the second to hear the sample on Wiz Khalifa's track. Bon Appetit!
